BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The main objective of the consulting services is to support MAWR and the Government in conducting a detailed analysis and preparing a rehabilitation program for implementation during the FWRMP-II:

• prepare an Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) plan for the Fergana Valley (FV) synthesizing information from existing background documents and analyzing existing data;
• select an optimal set of irrigation and drainage (I&D) interventions based on the above step; and

prepare a detailed feasibility level study with tender designs of the project (FWRMP-II), which would meet the appraisal requirements of an internationally funded project under the first phase of the assignment.
