BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The given PPTA has been the logical continuation of ADB’s Off-grid Renewable Energy Development technical assistance for the Government of Uzbekistan. The main objective of PPTA was to support economic development in the rural areas of Andijan, Ferghana, and Samarkand regions by providing reliable and environmentally clean energy. The project preparatory TA outcome will be an agreement with MAWR and the Government on the Loan Project’s design, a detailed feasibility report, and the implementation arrangements for the Loan Project.
